4 Week Dance Courses

Ages 2 to 4 Years Old

Summer Weekday Dance Classes

Description:

This four week session is great for the new or experienced little dancer. Ballet, tap and tumbling will be covered. All tumbling will take place on a mat.

What to bring/wear:

Students will need ballet and tap shoes and should wear a leotard.

The weeks of Aug 4thAug 11thAug 18thAug 25th

Wednesdays from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM (2-3 Year Olds)

Mondays from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (4 -5 Year Olds)

$62 for 2-3 Year Olds, $67 for 4-5 Year Olds

Summer Saturday Dance Classes

Description:

Rising K – Rising 5th Grade

Acro/Tumbling Course

Description:

This four week session will cover basic to advanced acro and tumbling skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, walkovers, etc.

What to bring/wear:

Students should be barefoot and should wear either a leotard or form fitting shorts with a crop top.

Rising Kindergarten – Rising 5th

Drop In Dance Classes

School may be out, but you can still work on your dance skills! Dancers Unite has great drop in classes this summer! You can either pay per class or buy a drop in card for multiple classes.

Price:

$15 for one class, $125 for 10 classes

Rising K – Rising 5th Grade

Ballet/Tap/Jazz

Description:

Ballet, tap and jazz technique are covered in this drop in style class.  A great way for students to keep working on skills over the summer.

What to bring/wear:

Students will need ballet and tap shoes and should wear a leotard.

Times:

Tuesdays from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Rising K – Rising 2nd)

Tuesdays from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Rising 3rd – Rising 5th)

Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Rising K – Rising 2nd)

Rising 6th Grade – Rising 12th Grade

Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary Technique

Description:

Technique used in jazz, lyrical and contemporary style dance are covered in this drop in class.  A great class for dancers wanting to improve upon their skills and current or future competitive company dancers.  Students should have previous dance experience before taking this class.

What to bring/wear:

Students should use jazz, lyrical or contemporary shoes or can be barefoot.  Students should wear either a leotard or form fitting shorts with a form fitting shirt or crop top.

Times:

Tuesdays from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Jumps/Leaps/Turns

Description:

Students will work on leaps, turns and jumps you would see in various dance forms in this drop in style class.  A great class for dancers wanting to improve or master their skills as well as current or future competitive company dancers. Students should have previous dance experience before taking this class. 

What to bring/wear:

Students should use jazz, lyrical or contemporary shoes or can be barefoot.  Students should wear either a leotard or form fitting shorts with a form fitting shirt or crop top.

Times:

Wednesday from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Intermediate/Advanced Tap Technique

Description:

Students will work on intermediate and advanced tap skills in this drop in class.  It is expected students have had previous tap dance experience before taking this class.  It is a great way to keep up with tap over the summer as well as improve and work on sounds, clarity and advanced tap skills.

What to bring/wear:

Students need tap shoes for this course.  Students should not wear long pants.
